All power-generating units of the Baihetan hydropower station in southwest China have been constructed, marking a major step toward the full operations of the mega project, according to the hydropower station. All units are due to be operational by the end of the year. Baihetan will have a total installed capacity of 16 million kilowatts.

【知識點】

白鶴灘水電站位于云南省巧家縣和四川省寧南縣交界處金沙江干流河段，是三峽集團在金沙江下游建設的四座巨型梯級水電站——烏東德、白鶴灘、溪洛渡、向家壩中的第二級。白鶴灘水電站左右兩岸地下廠房共布置16臺世界單機容量最大的百萬千瓦水輪發(fā)電機組，總裝機容量1600萬千瓦。

自去年7月首批機組投產(chǎn)發(fā)電以來，白鶴灘水電站累計發(fā)電量已超過256億千瓦時。電站機組全部投產(chǎn)后，預計多年平均發(fā)電量624.43億千瓦時，每年節(jié)約標準煤消耗1968萬噸，減少二氧化碳排放5160萬噸，對中國實現(xiàn)碳達峰、碳中和目標具有重要作用。

白鶴灘水電站是實施“西電東送”的國家重大工程，是當今世界在建規(guī)模最大、技術難度最高的水電工程。全球單機容量最大功率百萬千瓦水輪發(fā)電機組，實現(xiàn)了我國高端裝備制造的重大突破。
