I. Purpose

In order to promote the scientific and educational cooperation between the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg (Faculty of Economics and Management) and the Shanxi University of Finance & Economics Taiyuan the two institutions agree to cooperate for mutual benefit in the following program activities:

Um die Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Otto-von-Guericke-Universit?t Magdeburg (Fakult?t für Wirtschaft und Management) und der Universit?t für Finanz und Wirtschaft Shanxi zu f?rdern, vereinbaren beide Hochschulen zum gegenseitigen Nutzen folgende Aktivit?ten:

Both institutions agree to collaborate in the following jointly negotiated forms of cooperation:

Beide Hochschulen sind über folgende Kooperationsformen einig:

Student exchange of up to three visiting students per a year or, alternatively, six' visiting students for one semester for the undergraduate and/or graduate programs in the fields of economics and management.

Bis zu 3 Austauschstudenten für je 2 Semester bzw. bis zu 6 Austausstudenten für je 1 Semester im Bacholer bzw. Magisterstudiengang im Fach Wirtschaft und Management.

Faculty exchange in form of visiting scholars and visiting professors.

Austausch zwischen den Fakult?ten in Form des Gastwissenschaftlers und Gastprofessors.

An invitation of up to five selected Students from Shanxi University of Economics and Finance per annum to join the Bachelor Program in Management and Economics at the Otto-von-G aericke-University Magdeburg with the option to continue the studies in the Master Program in Management or Finance and Economics after completing the Bachelor program with good or excellent result (2+3+2 Joint Degree Program. Candidates must have completed at least two years of studies at the Shanxi University of Finance and Economics (the first two years of the Joint Degree Program) and prove a TOEFL score of at least 230 pts. in the computer based test (equals 570 pts., paper based test) prior to being admitted to the Bachelor Program in Economics and Management at the Otto-von-Guericke-University (three years in the Joint Degree Program).

Jedes Jahr werden bis zu fünf ausgew?hlten Studierenden aus der Universit?t für Finanz und Wirtschaft Shanxi eingeladen, die Fachrichtung Management and Economics im Bachelor-Studiengang an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universit?t  Magdeburg zu studieren. Haben die Austauschstudenten ihr Bachelor-Studium mit sehr guten bzw. guten Noten abgeschlossen, dürfen sie im Master-Studiengang weiterstudieren. (Bemerkung zu dem "2+3+2-Joint-Degree-Program": Um in das Bachelor-Programm in Fachrichtung Wirtschaft und Management an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universit?t (3 Jahre im Joint-Degree-ürogramm) aufgenommen zu werden, müssen die Kandidaten mindestens 2 Jahre an der Universit?t für Finanz und Wirtschaft Shanxi studiert haben (die ersten 2 Jahre des Joint-Degree-Programms) und eine Note von 230 Punkten im Computer-basierten TOEFL-Test (entspricht 570 Punkten im Papier-basierten Test) erwerben).

The students will be recommended by the Shanxi University of Finance & Economics Taiyuan and, provided they meet all requirements as defined by official admission procedure, granted privileged access to the Otto-von-Guericke-University's admission procedure. After the completion of the joint Bachelor degree, there will be a privileged option of enrolling to the Master Program (the last two years of the Joint Degree Program) of the Otto-von-Guericke-University under the University's regulations.

Erfüllen die Kandidaten alle vorgeschriebenen Anforderungen, werden sie durch die Universit?t für Finanz und Wirtschaft Shanxi empfohlen und ihnen wird ein Studienplatz an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universit?t zugesichert.
