A system that can detect 300 known pathogens of communicable diseases within 72 hours, has taken shape in China, the Ministry of Science and Technology said last Tuesday.

科技部上周二表示，我國(guó)已初步建立72小時(shí)內(nèi)篩查300種已知傳染病病原體的檢測(cè)系統(tǒng)。

This suggests that the gap between China's detection of communicable diseases and diagnostic reagents and the international level has narrowed significantly, according to Xu Jianguo, an academician with the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

中國(guó)工程院院士徐建國(guó)表示，這表明我國(guó)的傳染病檢測(cè)技術(shù)和診斷試劑與國(guó)際水平之間的差距明顯縮小。

In 2008, the ministry launched a project on communicable disease prevention and treatment.

國(guó)家衛(wèi)計(jì)委科教司司長(zhǎng)秦懷金表示，近年來(lái)，我國(guó)已建立跨機(jī)構(gòu)、跨區(qū)域的傳染病檢測(cè)網(wǎng)絡(luò)，為應(yīng)對(duì)H1N1流感、寨卡熱等重大疫情的行動(dòng)提供了支持。
